    Description

I need to clear some space on my shelves, so I need to part with some of my collection.
The Heinkel He219 was a very sophisticated night fighter for its day. If the Eagle Owl was available earlier and in greater quantities, it may have had a significant impact of the night bombing carried out by the RAF. It had many innovations that we take for granted today, including ejection seats and radar. This was an awesome offensive weapon with forward and upward firing (Schräge Musik) cannons. In the first few missions, these hunting Owls took down over two dozen bombers. I picked up a few of these massive beauties on clearance, so now I can let one or two go (presumably to good homes). This kit has over 250 pieces with spectacular details, including a fantastic cockpit, weapons and sensor pods and positionable control surfaces.
I found a handful of these kits listed on eBay (all from overseas) but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have it in stock and can reliably ship this kit very quickly. Here is some of the information about the kit that I have found online:
The Revell websites in the US and Germany make no mention of this kit, so I assume it is Out of Production. From other sources, I have found the following list of features:
    ·
Finely pronounced details and recessed panel joints
    ·
    Detailed cockpit
    ·
    Separate landing flaps and rudder
    ·
    Motor front ring with radiator
    ·
    Rotatable propellers
    ·
Antennas for FuG 218 and 220 radar systems
    ·
Decal set for two versions, the A-0 and the A-2
Scalemates.com shows that this kit is a 2017 release based on a new tooling from 2012.
They show the breathtaking box art and have a link to download the complete 17-page instruction set and painting guide from the 2012 kit (REV #4666). There are also many links to reviews, aftermarket parts and references to get you on your way to a successful build.
Torsten Kreimeier did a very thorough In-Box Review on the German-language kitreviewsonline.de site. We get clear photos of parts of the 14 grey and 2 clear sprues, along with the instruction set and large decal sheet. He was particularly impressed with the pristine quality of the clear parts the He compares this 2017 kit quite favorably to the original 2012 release, saying: “
A great kit that I am looking forward to building. The construction plan is much better and clearer than that of 2012.

Alexander Hilbig did a superb First Look Review on the prestigious German-language ipmsdeutschland.de site. He gives us large photos of each sprue and the decal sheet, along with a part of the 28-page instruction set showing the full-color painting guide. He acknowledges the modest cost and room for super-detailing, saying: “
A kit variant at a very good price-performance ratio. Certainly, the He 219 can be upgraded here and there with add-on kits - but is not absolutely necessary, because the result will certainly be so satisfactory.

Alexander Jost did another excellent In-Box Review on the German-language modellversium.de site with dozens of photos of the parts, the packaging and Revell’s finished model. He points out some very specific deficiencies of the kit and provides aftermarket solutions to address these minor shortcomings. Unless you are a perfectionist (and it is great if you are), he says building this out of the box will be fine, saying: “
The overall impression of the model is still impressive and good, especially the kit is inexpensive.

Kevin Futter did a detailed First Look Review on the English-language largescaleplanes.com site where we get almost two dozen photos of the sprues, decals and instructions. Even though he really liked the original kit from 2012, he feels this release has many significant improvements, saying: “
This is a welcome re-release of the He 219 kit from Revell, allowing the earlier initial variants to be modelled.

This kit is in a huge 20” x 14” x 5” box. As you can see from the pictures, the box is still sealed with the original four large tape disks, so it is
    factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready.
This item contains one complete injection molded plastic model kit of this impressive Luftwaffe night fighter with decals.
It requires cement and paint to complete as shown. I use eBay Managed Payments, but I no longer ship internationally. Auction winner pays the winning bid and for a limited time, I am offering this gigantic kit with

Those familiar with my listings can tell that I really enjoy these products and the modeling hobby. I like to provide more than just the bare facts about the items, trying to lead you into discovering more about the subjects and optimizing your builds (if that is your goal). I started out picking up models that I was interested in, with the eye toward building them when I had time. Always a bargain-hunter, I accumulated many more than I can build, so I found myself in a Collector status (sounds nicer than a hoarder).
As I am sure you have noticed, my items are almost always sealed and in mint condition (I call them Gift-Ready), since I only open them when I am ready to build them. Now I enjoy making these products available to my fellow modelers; both Builders and Collectors. For the Builders, there are probably better (at least cheaper) ways to add to your project lists than buying from me, but you know you are getting top quality. For Collectors, my goal is to save you a few bucks over the competition for the same item in factory sealed and collectible (or resellable) condition.
