Based on research we have done, no other scripophily dealer in the world is offering this very rare 1904 0 bond issued by The City Council of Cordoba for construction of its Water and Sewerage system. Anyone who has been following the scripophily market knows that Mexican Government Bonds are the most sought after international financial paper on Ebay. Single bonds have realized ,000 to 0,000. The offered bond was beautifully engraved by the American Bank Note Co. It measures over 15" x 18" when open (this includes the coupon sheet at the right). It has 35 coupons with a man's portrait at the left. It is bi-lingual with all terms and conditions of repayment imprinted on the back. If features the Great Seal of Cordoba and a superb vignette (steel etched illustration) of a beautiful woman and hooded child making an entry in a large book. The bond has 5 ( FIVE !) "vanity" hand signatures including that of the Governor!
