    Description

    Old 20 lb. Galvanized Bucket for Red Stave Wheat (Wallpaper) Paste
    Stave Wheat Paste was made by The Huron Milling Company, Harbor Beach, Michigan. This 1950s wallpaper paste bucket has directions printed on the back side. Also has a carrying handle and a galvanized bar on the interior to wipe excess back into the bucket. Measures approx 11 1/2 inches tall (17 1/2" to top of handle), 12 inches in diameter across the top, and 9 1/4 inches in diameter across bottom (bucket is tapered). Has 042I-A 23 and the date 3-8-55 stenciled in red on the side.
    Condition:
    Great old patina on this barn-found pail. Don’t see any holes, dents or damage to the metal. Some of the letters from the directions are worn off or never printed on—can’t tell. Doesn’t affect overall appeal of this unique old item. Would make a great rustic/farmhouse trash can or storage bucket.
