This beautiful F6F Hellcat was featured in a photo shoot then put in a secured display for a period of time. This plane is spotless with no dust, dirt or damage of any kind. Please inspect the great photos closely as they are part of the description and will reveal the additional work described in the section below.
What you need to know
Plane received additional airbrushing including fine detailing, weathering and exhaust.
Both landing struts have been reinforced with aircraft grade epoxy which was a weak point on these planes.
Plane will ship with the external drop tank and pilot.
Prop spins great but seems a bit sloppy when pushed all the way in.
Remember, if you are going to extend the landing gear, you must hold the strut at the wing then gently pull out the lower portion of the strut and gently twist.
