    Description

    The figure of the Dutch Boy Painter is made of heavy metal (lead?) and has a good bit of its original gilding.  Embossed at the bottom of the back is a retailer, John Lewis & Bros. Co., and the words Pure White Lead.  The figure is 4 1/2 inches tall to the top of his extended arm.  There are scuffs to the metal in spots and loss of gilding in spots.  Maybe it was a store display or perhaps a premium given by the company.
