You are looking at a .903 Silver Mexican coin, 8 Reales.  This coin weighs roughly 27 grams and was struck in Mexico City.  There are a number of varieties of the 1883, but this is the P.I. - M.H., #K377.12.  There is an overdate variety of this coin, and I am just not sure if this is one or not.  Take a look at the photos.  Regardless, this coin only had about 1.5 million minted, so how many do you believe are left?  Thanks for looking!
