He would play 21 years in Boston, earning five Norris Trophies and 19 All-Star Team selections, including 13 selections to the 1st Team. Bourque retired as the top defenceman in NHL history with career totals of 410 goals, 1,169 assists and 1,579 points. The native of Montreal, Quebec had his number '77' jersey retire by both the Avalanche and Bruins organizations. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2004.
