Simplex No. 41 Mechanical Ratchet Jack Iron? Antique Vintage Rare; Railroad, Car

Up for your consideration is a 'Simplex No. 41' Mechanical Ratchet Jack by the 'Templeton, Kenly, & Co., Ltd.', of 'Chicago & Toronto'.  Guessing it's made of cast iron.  Seems like two nails are missing that held down the corners of the label.  Not sure if it's an antique or vintage (not sure exact age - Called manufacturer's technical support, but company was bought out and they didn't know.)
Approximate Dimensions: Height (most compact): 11-1/4" x Length: 8-1/2" x Width: 3-1/4"
Also Embossed: 'TK' (Mfg. logo), 'Made in USA', 'Pat in USA & all foreign countries'
Saw elsewhere that this model jack's capacity is 1-1/2 Tons.  However, unable to verify as the label isn't legible.
Please see photos for description/condition.  Tested - appears to be in working order; no cracks, breaks, or repairs noted.
