This auction is for a single open (i.e. purchased new that way) kit as shown and is Special Hobby's 2020 reissue of MPM's original 2003 kit. This is typical of Special Hobby's kits and due to the prototype's simplicity this is a pretty straightforward build (only 41 or so parts). External detail is well-restrained and engraved, the interior's pretty good (the usual - seat, floor, bulkheads, control stick and instrument panel) and the passenger compartment, instead of the usual four passenger seats, has two 55 gal fuel drums. Why? The decals, in new condition, provide markings for Amelia Earhart's aircraft when she made her trans-continental and later, trans-Atlantic flights; said aircraft carried two extra tanks of gas instead of passenger seats. And built, the little model looks good! If you like 1930s aircraft or just like bright red ones, this one's for you. The box and contents are in new condition and this kit's lived its entire life in a smoke-free environment. Build it!
