This kit is designed to completely transform your Tamiya 1/48th scale P-51D "Korean War Edition" to replicate Anson Johnson's 1949 Cleveland Air Race entry. Anson removed the lower scoop and placed the oil cooler and radiators in the wings. He also modified the front lower cowling by moving the carb intake to a smaller streamlined scoop near the gear well. The resin parts comes complete with detailed instruction, with the measurements to install the supplied parts.
