    Vintage 1972 A & W Root Beer Heavy Glass Mugs 14 Ounce USA Map Logo

    Allen and Wright realized the importance of serving their root beer in a chilled glass mug. Therefore, practically from the start, franchises required that an approved chilled mug be used.
    For sale is this lot of (3) Vintage 14 ounce A & W Root Beer Heavy Glass Mugs that stand 6 inch tall and 3 1/8 inch across the top rim with the amazing A&W USA Map Logo.
    The mug was produced by the Indiana Glass Company for A&W.
    This logo mug was only manufactured for four years from 1972 to 1976.
    The style number is #1614 - 14 oz. The logo is in great shape as are the mugs with no chips or cracks. These are very heavy mugs that weigh over 2 pounds each.
    We discovered these mugs while we were going through my late mother’s estate possessions. The mugs were stored in a container with other vintage glassware. These mugs are in very good condition as can be seen for yourself in the pictures.
